Family life is done indoors and out. In everyday life it is not always easy to find time to talk and play calmly without the pressure of daily obligations. So we suggest that when you can, you can book a family day at a child friendly hotel or at least have lunch at a nice restaurant that welcomes families with small children, whether it is to celebrate a special date or simply to enjoy a some quiet moments, no food to make or dishes to wash and tidy up.
– The hotels –
From north to south of the country there are already several alternatives that put the welfare of small guests first, with infrastructures that welcome parents and children so that everyone can enjoy a few days of rest and fun.
These are some of them:
– Montebelo Aguieira, Barragem da Aguieira, Mortágua
– H2otel, Unhais da Serra, Serra da Estrela
– Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel, Cascais e Lisboa
– Aqualuz Troia Mar & Rio, Troia
– Pestana Troia Eco-Resort & Residences, Troia
– ZMar Eco Campo, Zambujeira do Mar
– Vila Planície, Monsaraz
– Vila Galé Clube de Campo, Beja
– Aquashow Park Hotel, Quarteira
– Nau Salgados Palace, Albufeira
– Monte Santo Resort, Carvoeiro
– The restaurants –
Going out with the kids for lunch can be a headache if it takes long waits without them having to entertain. Making them glazed on any electronic device doesn’t seem to be the best option either, so it’s best to look for places that allow children to play and parents to chat. With families in mind, there are more and more restaurants with their own spaces dedicated to children that promise some fun time, allowing parents to enjoy a quiet meal away from home.

Whatever your choice, whether it’s a weekend, a vacation, or just a lunch to celebrate a special date, it’s important to have family fun and enjoy those moments to create memories and strengthen bonds.
